Experts gave advice and suggestions for Huai’an to better promote Huaiyang cuisine

On April 19, the launching ceremony of the application for UCCN city of gastronomy city the seminar on the development of Huaiyang cuisine industry were held in Huai’an, Jiangsu province.

Gu Kun, the deputy mayor, made a speech.

Gu Kun, deputy mayor of Huai'an said at the ceremony that Huaiyang cuisine was known as “the No. 1 food in Southeast China and one of the best in the world.” There were more than 1300 kinds of existing dishes, and the brand value of Xuyi crayfish had reached 16.9 billion yuan.
